23 грудня 2024 року до Верховної Ради України було подано проєкт закону України «Про Кіберсили Збройних Сил України», який станом на початок березня 2026 року очікував на друге читання. Проєкт складається лише із шести статей, якими буде закладено основу діяльності нових сил у складі ЗСУ. У випадку прийняття відповідного закону, останнім визначатиметься правовий статус, основні завдання, компетенція, структура, фінансування та матеріально-технічне забезпечення Кіберсил ЗСУ та інші аспекти діяльності нової складової ЗСУ. Визнано прогресивний та інноваційний характер утворення Кіберсил ЗСУ як окремої складової ЗСУ, які на постійній основі стримуватимуть агресію в кіберпросторі або з його використанням в мирний час та надаватимуть відсіч агресору в особливий період.
On December 23, 2024, a draft law of Ukraine «On the Cyber Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine» was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, which as of early March 2026 was awaiting a second reading. The draft consists of only six articles, which will lay the foundation for the activities of the new forces within the Armed Forces of Ukraine. If the relevant law is adopted, the latter will determine the legal status, main tasks, competence, structure, financing and material and technical support of the Cyber Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other aspects of the activities of the new component of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The progressive and innovative nature of the formation of the Cyber Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a separate component of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which will constantly deter aggression in cyberspace or with its use in peacetime and will repel the aggressor in a special period, was recognized.
